Call for postcard art with theme: “No to Violence –Yes to Create – The Limits”
NO to violence,YES to Art, Love,Peace, Life!
Dimensions: 10x15 cm (postcard size)
Techniques: painting, collage, prints (not in electronic form, but only by mail). Draft sculpture or construction also accepted.
No return art work,- no fee for participation.
Behind the work please write: Title, material and Name, Surname, Address, E-mail, Telephone, Fax.
In the letter to us with art work there can be biographical data on CD, if possible.
The projects will be posted on the websites of SKETBE.blogspot.com.
The Mail Art Exhibit 2009 will be in collaboration with the School of Education of Aristotle University at Aristotle University Tower, Thessaloniki, and a mail-art scientific conference will join the events held there.
Event Dates 1-11 December 2009.

La lectura es un viaje con todos los sentidos, un libro es una forma de moverse.
La convocatoria pide que expresemos artísticamente sobre estos conceptos y el significado que prefiramos darle.
Utilizar preferentemente el correo postal para hacernos llegar vuestra obra.
La técnica y formato es libre.

La lecture est un voyage avec tous les sens, un livre est une forme de se mouvoir.
La convocation demande que nous exprimions artistiquement sur ces concepts et le signifié que nous preferons lui donner.

Cependant nous exposerons n'importe quelle oeuvre reçue pendant la duration de l'exposition (le délai est aux effets de catalogue etc..)
Nous réaliserons parallèlement un atelier de mail art pour permettre de le faire connaître en Galice. Les oeuvres s'exposeront dans la Bibliothèque Publique Anxel Casal de Santiago

El erotismo siempre ha sido uno de los motores del ser humano. ¿Sigue siéndolo en estos tiempos, le ha afectado la actual crisis mundial? Considera la opción de trabajar sobre el tema del erotismo en todas sus variantes, el tamaño del sello se adapta perfectamente al tema y resultará interesante comprobar cómo está afectando la crisis actual al erotismo en el arte postal.

Eroticism always had been one of the motors of human being ¿Is it still a motor at the present time? ¿Was it affected by the actual global crisis? Consider the option to work about eroticism as a theme in all the possible ways, the requiered size is suitable to develop it, and it will be interesting to prove how the actual crisis is affecting eroticism in connection with Postal Art.

CONVOCATORIA PARA UNA EXPOSICIÓN DE LIBROS DE ARTISTA
Podrán participar artistas del mundo entero , dando su visión particular sobre el tema: México en España
Se busca la mirada extranjera que observa desde afuera y el destello del mexican@ que desde la lejanía recuerda.
Los que deseen participar deberán mandar:
* fotos digitales de su o sus libros de artista sobre el tema anteriormente citado
* titulo de la o las obras (máximo dos)
* breve currículum
* reseña sobre el tema sugerido
La exposición se realizará en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Madrid del 14 de septiembre al 2 de octubre de 2009.
Las obras seleccionadas serán expuestas acompañando otra exposición de obras de artistas mejicanos residentes en su país de origen.
La intención es enriquecer el tema: México, utilizando varios puntos de vista.
Los artistas interesados podrán mandar su documentación y hacer las preguntas pertinentes, al correo electrónico: mexico.espana@gmail.com a nombre del comisario o curador de la exposición, Jim Lorena.
Fecha límite de recepción de documentación digital: 1 de agosto.
Las fechas de envío de las obras físicas, así como el lugar donde mandarlas, no están concretados con exactitud todavía.

THEME: Learn to swim! The project of the Bolderaja group - an answer to those planners of Riga and politicians of Latvia who think that they can fool the floods with laws.
While politicians are trying to invent and implement schemes on how to bypass the Flood directive and create laws and regulations that would benefit the Big Port Business, people who live near the water and know how helpless they are when faced with floods, can only be given the following advice: "Learn to swim!"
